Deloris Nadine Townsley Sheffield, 74, of Lowell, passed away peacefully at 9:15 p.m., Friday, February 3, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 22, 1937 in Livermore, KY to Roy L. and Georgia D. (Bratcher) Townsely. On February 20 1954 in Shawneetown, IL, she married Wendell L. Sheffield. He preceded her in death on March 1, 1978. Survivors include two sons, Robert Dale Sheffield and Michael W. Sheffield, both of Lowell; three daughters, Sandi K. Sheffield Hayes, Theresa A. Sheffield (Max) Znika and Rhonda J. Sheffield Greer, all of Lowell; eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Colleen Townsley Grant of Aberdeen, NC and Holly Townsley Bolton of Lowell; one brother, Louis R. Townsley of Monon, IN; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Anthony Bruce Sheffield; two sisters, Darlene Brush and Anna Mae Faught; and one brother, Roy A. Townsley. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Bethany Chapel Church, 545 N. Nichols Street, Lowell, IN with Pastor Douglas W.
